Have you got maths eyes?
An inspiring resource for learning numeracy
Explore the world through the eyes of a mathematician and discover the maths hidden all around
Numeracy Focus: All
Many people often consider the numeracy tasks they can do as ‘common sense’ and the tasks they cannot do as ‘mathematics’.
The initiative of viewing the world through mathematical eyes began in the small community of Tallaght, Ireland, and aims to empower people by helping them recognise the value of their numeracy knowledge and skills.
It provides opportunities for parents to build confidence and capacity in mathematics, empowering them to help their children’s learning, and promote positive attitudes to mathematics in the home.
